We returned it to its home
The Banksy deserved a proper welcome. So with the help of the Mayor of Hackney, Philip Glanville, to unveil the piece, we hosted an amazing reveal night. With the room bursting with art enthusiasts and global press, we were thrilled to place the Banksy back where it was originally painted.
During the event, The New York Times filmed a Facebook Live video of the piece that reached over 120 thousand viewers. And afterwards there were articles written in The Guardian (shared over 1.5 thousand times), Metro, Evening Standard, Business Insider and Lonely Planet among many other publications. A huge thank you goes to the BBC who came to film a feature that aired on Inside Out London. It was a very proud moment for us all.
Head on down to Curtain Road to take a look at the Banksy back in its home. It’s really quite special.
